High school students in the St. Louis region have several opportunities to build upon existing knowledge and become more aware of possible career paths in both construction management and the building trades.  There are programs for students that have had previous exposure to construction and the skilled trades as well as for individuals without prior experience.  See individual listings for more information on these and other programs.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), St. Louis Chapter sponsors a design/drafting competition for high-school seniors.  Students are given the task of creating drawings and designs according to NAWIC project specifications.  The drawings are then judged by leaders in the construction industry.  Also, refer to the NAWIC national website for more details about the CAD/Design/Drafting Competition.
