Our Board |

The Access
Collaborative Board is a self-perpetuating board of organizations representing
key stakeholders in the construction industry. Representatives meet every other
month to evaluate the performance of the St. Louis region in the area of
minority workforce and minority contractor development. For a listing of the

This month in the St. Louis Region |
|

- Three youths interned at the ACCESS
Center during the 2009 summer. These youth salaries were
made possible with funding from the SLATE Summer Youth
Program. We are also grateful to Mrs. Gwen Crimm of the CCC
for sending the ACCESS Center bright students who made a
difference this summer. We especially want to thank the
State of Missouri and our governor for his vision of helping
our youth work this summer. Finally, we thank the AGC of St.
Louis for doing all the wonderful things to make the ACCESS
Center a better Information Resource Center.
- Javonti Dillchay - Junior at
Construction Careers Center Charter High School: Class of
2011 Worked at the ACCESS Center - His main duties were to
assist with organization of client’s files, records and
working the ACCESS Center data base, Xeroxing information,
making fliers and stuffing envelops,
- Deloris Cairo - Sophomore at Forest Park
Community College Graduate of CCC in 2008 Worked at the
ACCESS Center: Her main duties includes answering the
majority of incoming calls, operational of multi-line phone,
arrangement of appointment for center director, organization
of clients files, check clients files for accurate
information, forwarding letters to clients, etc.
- Brittany Madison - Senior at Construction
Careers Center Charter High School; Class of 2010 Worked at
the ACCESS Center: Main duties included charting data of
center clients, filing, reorganization of client’s
information under the guidance of Center Director Glenn
Harris.

ACCESS Collaborative Board in Action!
The ACCESS
Collaborative Board is comprised of construction industry
stakeholders in the St. Louis Metropolitan Region. Organization
representatives meet monthly to advance the mission of ACCESS.
One of their first collaborative achievements is the ACCESS
Resource Center. The center is located in St. Louis City at 700
Rosedale. For appointments and/or an orientation, call the
