| The Building Design Program,
sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC),
St. Louis Chapter, is structured to enhance applied math,
communication, and problem-solving skills. Students work
on a team to create drawings for a 1,000 square feet home for a

On Site! is a
continuation of the Associated General Contractors sponsored
program, Build Up!. On Site! begins with informing middle
school students of the different types of construction and the
career opportunities that exist within the various areas of
construction. The On Site! curriculum is to be used as an
addition to math, science, and social studies classes.
